Genoa defender Nicolas Burdisso says he is happy with his new club and is pleased to have made the decision to move to Liguria.
The 32-year-old joined the Rossoblu in January from Roma and is looking forward to his side’s match with Milan on Monday.
“It was a surprise for me because I didn’t think Genoa was this beautiful!” Burdisso told reporters.
“My family are happy here. I am Argentinian but I feel a bit Italian too because I grew up here.
“Here there is the sea and a great history. I have rediscovered a sense of security by moving here.
“Milan are a developing team, like we are. We’ve played well against the big teams so I think it will be a close match.”
