It’s reported Cagliari President Massimo Cellino will sack Coach Diego Lopez.
The Sardinians are still seven points clear of the drop zone, but it’s reported Cellino has decided to fire Lopez after today’s 3-1 home defeat to Roma.
He had already been on the verge of sacking his Coach in mid-February and changed his mind, sending away assistant manager Ivo Pulga instead.
Strangely, the person now being tipped to take over from Lopez is Pulga, who was fired from the staff on February 18.
It’s claimed the defeat to Roma proved the final straw for the trigger-happy new patron of Leeds United, as they have seven wins, 11 draws and 14 defeats this season.
Catania already fired their Coach Rolando Maran this evening.
