The agent of Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne says his client is happy at San Paolo and wants to remain at the club.
The 22-year-old has endured a difficult season at times but is said to want to remain in his hometown as long as he is part of Coach Rafa Benitez’s plans.
“Benitez has shown he has faith and belief in Lorenzo,” Fabio Andreotti told Radio Crc. “My client has always said he wants to remain wearing blue.
“If something changes in that regard and Lorenzo isn’t part of the project anymore, then maybe things will change.
“But that isn’t the case at the moment. In Naples they always care that little bit extra about players born in this part of the world.
“That is why Lorenzo has often been the target of their criticism.”
