Montpellier President Louis Nicollin has revealed that M’Baye Niang may be too expensive to sign outright in the summer.
The French striker is on loan at the Ligue 1 side from Milan until the end of the season, and has performed relatively well from the bench, netting four goals in 16 appearances.
And the Paillade’s owner has admitted that the Rossoneri youngster could cost too much to sign permanently.
“We will meet with Milan to talk about Niang because he is too expensive,” he told Midilibre.
“But it the Coach wants to keep him then we’ll see what happens.”
