Borja Valero’s agent has revealed that the midfielder is ‘in love with Florence’ but admits that there is interest from other teams.
The Spanish attacker has been an influential figure for Vincenzo Montella’s men this term, guiding them to fourth in the League and the Coppa Italia final.
But rumours still persist that Barcelona, should their transfer ban be overturned, and Manchester United, could both be keen.
The player’s representative though, has claimed that he is confident that Valero will sign an extension at Artemio Franchi.
“He is in love with Florence and with Fiorentina,” Alejandro Camano told Calcio News.
“Borja is very pleased to be a part of this Viola project. But, at the moment, there is no news about his future.
“If you want any revelations you should speak to Fiorentina – Borja’s future is in their hands.
“Right now, everyone is focused on doing well in the League and winning the cup. I have heard the rumours, but I can’t comment.”
