Former Juventus player Giuseppe Galderisi has promised to try to tire out Benfica before their Europa League match with the Old Lady.
The 51-year-old is currently coaching Portuguese Primeira Liga side Olhanense, who face Jorge Jesus’ side in the League four days before the first leg.
“Benfica are the worst team Juventus could have drawn,” Galderisi admitted to Radio 24. “Benfica are a team rich in quality.
“But the fact a lot of their players are great individually does not have an effect on their team ethic either.
“It will be very difficult for Juventus, even though Italian football is much stronger than Portuguese football.
“And in any case, it will be up to me to tire Benfica out a few days before the match!”
