Inter general director Marco Fassone has confirmed that his club are interested in signing Fernando Torres from Chelsea.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, with the Nerazzurri reportedly one of his most likely destinations.
“He is one of the names that interest us,” Fassone told Radio Deejay. “Our President Erick Thihir admitted as much in recent days.
“You will discover in due course who the player is that we will focus on.
“Our goal at the moment is to get into the Europa League. It would be a problem if a club like Inter did not play in Europe for two successive seasons.”
