Sebastian Giovinco says he hopes to have resolved any issue with Juventus supporters and denies rumours of a link to Lazio.
The forward has come under pressure from Bianconero support this term but after a goal and good performance away to Udinese on Monday night, made clear that there is no issue as far as he is concerned.
“This was a good test, a big test for me, for the team. It was important to send a signal that we never give up, so this was a great performance,” Giovinco told reporters post-match.
“I hope to have won over the Juve fans, because in any case I have never had anything against them, even when I left, I have always spoken well, in the sense that I never had anything against them.
“Perhaps some words have been misinterpreted, have been presented in the wrong way, but for my part there is absolutely no issue.”
Giovinco was asked about the lack of playing time and if it has ended his World Cup hopes.
“Unfortunately yes, but if there is a little hope then I will try to do everything possible to improve the situation.”
That lack of playing time has also led to rumours of a possible move to Lazio.
“It is all lies, because I have not spoken to anyone, whilst I have not refused Lazio, nothing is true. I know nothing and neither do my agents. There is nothing true.”
