Juan Zuniga’s agent has denied that there is any issue over the player’s so far failure to return to first team action at Napoli.
The Colombian international has been back training with the Partenopei since mid-March, after knee surgery in October, but has yet to be included in Rafa Benitez’s plans.
For the full-back’s representative, though, it is not an issue and there are no concerns over his World Cup place either.
“Zuniga is not a case, he was operated on in October because he could no longer live with the pain and he is now available to the Coach and he will play him when he deems it appropriate,” Riccardo Calleri has told Il Mattino today.
“It is not true that there is a rush to play him, it is not true that there is a fear of not going to the World Cup.”
