Lorenzo Insigne’s agent says playing at the World Cup is more than a dream for his client.
The 22-year-old was one of Cesare Prandelli’s 42-man squad to complete physical tests at Coverciano earlier this week.
Now, Antonio Ottaiano says both the player and his support team are full of belief he can make the final 23-man party for Brazil.
“It’s more than a dream,” Ottaiano said to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “For Lorenzo, the World Cup represents a target.
“He wants to play in the Italian shirt in Brazil. For a 22-year-old lad it would be a fantastic achievement.
“We all believe he can do it.”
The agent then commented on his client’s long term goals at his club side Napoli.
“The hope is that Lorenzo’s journey with Napoli can be as long as possible, as De Laurentiis said the day he signed his renewal.
“My client wants to become a focal point of this team, winning as many trophies as possible.”
