Torino defender Matteo Darmian has paid tribute to the sacrifices his team have made throughout the season.
With just five Serie A matches remaining the Granata are still in the race to reach the Europa League, sitting just three points off potential qualification.
“We are going through a good period,” Darmian told reporters at a Press conference today.
“We need to carry on as we have been doing and give our best in these last five matches.
“At the start of the year if someone had said that we would get to the last five matches still playing for a European place, maybe we wouldn’t have believed it.
“But this is the result of all the sacrifices we have made throughout the season.
“Now we will go to Rome to take on Lazio and we are preparing well. We need to take it one game at a time and we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.”
