Gonzalo Higuain is expected to miss Napoli’s trip to Udinese on Saturday, so Duvan Zapata should start.
The official club website confirmed Higuain left the training session early today after suffering a knock to his left leg.
“It can be healed in a few days,” read the medical report.
This effectively rules the hitman out of Saturday’s game with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.
Napoli are already without Christian Maggio, Rafael, Juan Camilo Zuniga and the suspended Dries Mertens.
Colombian international Zapata is therefore expected to start in attack.
