Rudi Garcia has claimed that the fans will be in for ‘a good show’ when Roma take on Fiorentina tomorrow.
The capital club go to Florence on Saturday hoping to come home with the three points that could take them to within five of Juventus.
But whatever the result, the Giallorossi is confident that both teams will go for it at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
“Tomorrow there will be two teams that play good football going for a win,” he told a Press conference. “Let's hope we see a great show.
“All I know is that we'll go to Florence to win.
“We know it's a tough place to get a result, but we want to extend our eight-game winning run.
“Is the Scudetto gone? We need to always be careful - often things happen in football when you least expect it.
“I like the way Fiorentina play - they're a side that’s built to do well domestically and in Europe. I'm happy to be playing Montella's men
“We saw a wonderful match in the previous meeting, and let's hope tomorrow's game is equally so for us and the fans.”
The Frenchman then commented on the season so far, and what he expects to happen at the club over the summer.
“Regrets over certain matches? No, none. I'd have taken second place at the start of the campain but the season is not over.
“I've not spoken to the club about Europe. We'll chat at the end of the season. Renewals? I don't want to think about it
“I've always said I'd like to see the same squad next season, strengthened by a few new signings. But we need to talk about that with Sabatini and the President.”
Garcia concluded by remarking on Mattia Destro’s three-match ban.
“There was the Bosman ruling in the past, as of yesterday there's the Destro ruling.
“I've always fought for the use of technology and I'm happy to see this has happened. Let's hope they use it in Europe
“I hope the Destro ruling goes for everyone, its application is not my problem. These things can't only work one way.”
