Livorno have officially fired Coach Domenico Di Carlo to recall his predecessor Davide Nicola.
The Amaranto lost 3-0 at Milan today and fell to penultimate place, now three points adrift of the safety zone.
Di Carlo was therefore sacked and replaced with his predecessor Nicola, who was only fired on January 13.
It was Nicola who sat on the Livorno bench when the team earned promotion from Serie B last summer.
Livorno aren’t the only club to recall a Coach after a brief period of dismissal, as Sassuolo did the same with Eusebio Di Francesco and Catania sacked Rolando Maran twice this season.
