Inter President Erick Thohir insists Nerazzurri Coach Walter Mazzarri will be given next season to continue building the team.
The tactician’s long term future at San Siro has been placed in doubt at times this term but it appears he has the backing of the Indonesian, at least for the time being.
“Inter are concentrating on the last four matches of the season,” Thohir is quoted as saying by FcInterNews.it. “We need to maintain the balance we have found in order to get the best results.
“Therefore, I don’t want to change what is already in place in terms of the team at the moment.
“Things are starting to fall into place but if you want to have a solid team it needs to be the result of a process.
“In the world of football, everything moves quickly and different Coaches are better with different players. But that’s not what I want.
“Mazzarri will be given all of next season in order to build the team.”
