Borussia Dortmund are willing to spend €20m to sign Ciro Immobile, but Torino are keen on keeping their goalscoring starlet.
The 24-year-old scored again on Sunday as Il Toro beat Udinese 2-0, taking his season’s tally to 21.
And respected Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed on his official website that the German side are happy to splash out to land the Italy international.
The striker though, is currently co-owned by Juventus and their cross-city rivals, so any negotiations would have to involve both clubs.
It is suggested that Toro President Urbano Cairo is hoping to go to the Bianconeri and try to buy the other 50 per cent of Immobile, but they are unlikely to be able to compete with the Bundesliga outfit’s financial might.
