Hellas Verona will reportedly reward Luca Toni’s form this season with the offer of a two-year contract extension.
The Gialloblu have been seen in recent weeks as eager to open negotiations with the veteran striker, on extending his current deal with them beyond this summer.
Mediaset are running the line that the 36-year-old’s Indian summer enjoyed at the Bentegodi this term, which has produced 19 League goals so far, has convinced the club to table a two-year contract offer.
The deal, which would commit the club to Toni until June 2016, is seen as likely to be accepted by the former Fiorentina man.
