Sport Mediaset report that Giovanni Trapattoni will be unveiled as Morocco’s new Coach this Friday.
It is said that the 75-year-old was in Marrakesh yesterday evening to finalise the details of a four year contract with the Atlas Lions.
He has reportedly now accepted and signed the deal, with a Press conference to be held on Friday to officially announce his appointment.
Should he see out his contract with the North Africans, the former Juventus, Inter and Milan tactician will preside over two African Cup of Nations campaigns, including Morocco’s hosting of the tournament next year.
He will also be responsible for the nation’s attempts to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
