Milan CEO Adriano Galliani believes rivals Inter will start the upcoming derby between the sides as favourites.
The old adversaries lock horns on Sunday evening with both teams needing points to secure Europa League qualification.
The 69-year-old also took time to pay tribute to retiring Nerazzurri player Javier Zanetti, who will hang up his boots at the end of the season.
“The derby? Inter are absolutely the favourites,” Galliani told reporters at a Milan publicity event today.
“However, we haven’t won a derby since the year we won the Scudetto and it think it’s time we changed that.
“Zanetti? He is a symbol of Inter. Milan have always been a rival of Zanetti but we recognise what he has done.
“He is a player, like Kaka, who is a patriarch of football as a whole.”
