Serie B clubs Bari and Reggina have been deducted a point each from their respective totals with immediate effect.
The decision comes after both clubs were found to have breached the League’s financial regulations, which are in place to ensure teams maintain balanced accounts.
The decision means Reggina drop to 27 points. They remain second from bottom of the League and could be relegated as early as this weekend.
Bari meanwhile, who have also been hit with a €7,000 fine, now have 48 points and slip to five points off the play-off places. They remain in 13th position.
