Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano is pleased with the season he has had for the Blucerchiati.
The 23-year-old thanked Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic but added that a lot of hard work lies ahead in order to achieve his goal of playing for the national team.
“I am pleased with the season I’ve had wearing the Sampdoria shirt,” Soriano told SampTV.
“I need to thank the boss for his faith in me. I think I have shown the fans my worth.
“The national team? If I want to get there I need to carry on doing well with this team, otherwise it will all be in vain.
“I am pleased to have scored four goals but I want to score more to give joy to the fans.
“The fans have always been magnificent and we have never been missing their support.”
