Fabio Coentrao could sign a contract extension with Real Madrid, despite rumours of interest from Serie A.
The Portugal international has been welcomed back into the Blancos fold recently, having initially fallen behind Marcelo in the Madrid pecking order.
Since the Brazilian’s injury though, the former Benfica has shown enough quality to have convinced Carlo Ancelotti to offer him a new contract – at least according to El Confidencial.
The paper believes that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit will start discussing a new deal with the 26-year-old’s agent soon.
That seems to be bad news for Juventus, Milan and Manchester United, all of whom have been linked heavily with Coentrao in recent months.
