Lazio have confirmed that Miroslav Klose will stay with the club for at least another season.
The veteran striker’s current deal in the capital was set to expire in the summer, with reports suggesting that a move back to Germany or a switch to the MLS was on the cards.
However, this afternoon, the Biancocelesti have revealed that the former Bayern Munich has penned a one-year extension at Stadio Olimpico.
The deal also includes the possibility of another year.
“I am very happy to be a part of this major project,” Klose told the club’s official website.
“I still have an important role to play here.”
