Should Sinisa Mihajlovic leave Sampdoria in the summer, the Marassi outfit will look to Stefano Pioli, according to reports.
The Serbian tactician has been rumoured to be of interest to the national team and Inter for next season.
And should the former midfielder decide to leave the Bluerchiati, the club have, according to Calcio News, decided to go for Pioli as his replacement.
The 48-year-old has had a varied career in management, starting at Salernitana, before going on to Parma, Piacenza and Chievo. He was sacked by Bologna earlier this year and has been enjoying a brief hiatus from life in the dugout.
The website insists though, that Pioli would be interested in taking over from Mihajlovic.
