Lazio look out for Afellay

Lazio are apparently one of a number of clubs ready to come in for Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay, should he leave the Catalan club.

The Dutchman has struggled for fitness in recent seasons and is speculated as one of a number of players to be heading out of the Camp Nou this summer, with only a year remaining on his current contract.

Despite his struggles for playing time, the winger reportedly still has a number of admirers and La Repubblica say Lazio are the club heading interest from Serie A.

Whilst the player’s own thoughts on a possible move are unknown, the Rome-based publication report that the Aquile are fans of Afellay for his flexibility and that they will be in line this summer for a possible move.
