Javier Zanetti will reportedly meet with Inter shortly to define his new role within the club following retirement.
The Argentine has just ended a 19-year spell as a player with the Nerazzurri and is expected to move into a different position behind the scenes at the club.
The Corriere dello Sport believe that a meeting to determine what that particular role will be is due to be held in the coming days and that it will involve talks with President Erick Thohir.
It is understood that the two parties are keen to realise Zanetti’s new job description at Pineta before an apparent scheduled trip to Argentina for the 40-year-old in early June.
