The 19-year-old shot to fame this season with 16 goals in 29 Serie A games, plus nine assists.
These included four goals in a single match in the 4-3 victory over Milan in January.
Berardi is co-owned by Juventus, so there were question marks over whether he would return to base for next season or be sold elsewhere.
“Relax, I will stay at Sassuolo for another year,” he declared on stage tonight in the end of season club dinner.
