Didier Drogba has opened the door to joining Juventus next season, admitting that he wants to play in the Champions League.
The Ivorian striker is out of contract next month when his deal with Galatasaray expires, and has indicated that he is looking for a new challenge and the prospect of playing in Europe’s premier club competition.
“I want to play for a competitive team,” he told Surface during the Ivory Coast’s pre-World Cup training camp.
“And I also want to play in the Champions League.
“Galatasaray? They will always remain in my heart. I am proud to have represented that club.”
Chelsea are also thought to be keeping tabs on the goalscorer’s situation.
