Borussia Dortmund Coach Jurgen Klopp says he will do everything within his power to sign Ciro Immobile.
The Torino forward, co-owned by Juventus, enjoyed a stellar season for the Granata, picking up Serie A’s Capocanniere award given to the top goalscorer.
This has led to heavy speculation linking him with a move to the German side, with Immobile himself saying he wants to move to the Bundesliga runners-up.
“The forwards that I want cost more because they are the best around,” Klopp is quoted as saying by Tuttosport. “We will do everything we can to bring Immobile here.”
The 24-year-old for his part was asked about comments he made at a Press conference during the week, when he stated he wants to be playing in the Champions League.
“I said what I was feeling at the time,” he told Sky Sport. “It doesn’t mean that I don’t love the Torino shirt and the fans.
“Will learning German be easy? We’ll see, if Verratti can learn French then maybe!”
