Francesco Totti praised the ‘lovely atmosphere’ in Orlando as Roma beat their American opponents 1-0.
The Giallorossi are currently in the United States on a brief tour, and overcame Orlando City on Friday in a friendly.
And speaking to reporters the day after, the captain was delighted with the reception they received, and reserved special mention for Toni Sanabria and Leandro Paredes.
“The event in Orlando has been really good,” he told the gathering media, as the Roma squad met Mickey Mouse at Disney World.
“The atmosphere at the game was lovely. Players like Sanabria and Paredes showed they definitely have something.
“They have bright futures in the game.”
The legendary captain then commented on the prospect of playing in the Champions League next term.
“We want to go as far as possible in Europe. And I believe we can have our say.”
