“We believed we could equalise. And in the end the game has gone well,” he told Canal Plus.

“Incredible. This is what we tried for since the start of the season. We have suffered, but we deserved it.

“I'm loco with happiness.”

Ancelotti is now the join-most successful manager in European Cup history with three wins. The tactician goes level with ex-Liverpool boss Bob Paisley.
