Swansea captain Ashley Williams is reportedly willing to let his contract expire, with Napoli thought to be interested in signing him.
The central defender has one year left on his current deal with the Premier League side, but, according to The Guardian, is bemused by the club’s rejection of several offers for his services.
As such, the paper reveals that the Wales international is happy to turn down the offer of an extension at the Liberty Stadium, and leave on a free next summer.
Several English sides are interested in bringing in Williams, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Queens Park Rangers the favourites for his signature.
However, Rafa Benitez’s men are also known to be keen on the 29-year-old.
