Unai Emery has eased Sevilla fans nerves, claiming that they can ‘rest easy’ despite links of a move to Milan.
The Rossoneri are said to have put the Rojiblancos Coach at the top of their list to replace Clarence Seedorf at San Siro.
But the tactician has insisted that he wants to stay at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and sign a new deal.
“The season is over and now is the time to rest,” he told the club’s official website.
“We are happy with what we did this season and are happy to have shown the type of football the fans deserve.
“I’ve agreed with the President to sit down and talk about a renewal on Wednesday.
“I am very happy here – I’ve always said that. The fans can rest easy.”
