Flamengo have seemingly ruled themselves out of the running to sign Milan forward Robinho this summer.
The Brazilian is strongly expected to leave San Siro this summer and has been linked with a return to his homeland and possible interest from Major League Soccer in the US.
Despite reports in the Brazilian media recently suggesting that Flamengo would be one of the interested parties to come in for the 30-year-old, their Vice-President has now briefly hinted otherwise.
“Most likely, Robinho will not come to Flamengo,” Wallim Vasconcellos has told Calciomercato.com today.
“That’s all I can say for now.”
