Paulinho has all but confirmed his intention is to leave Livorno this summer, as he issues a farewell message.
The Brazilian striker was a notable plus-point to the Amaranto’s 2013-14 campaign, scoring 15 times in a season that saw the club finish bottom of Serie A.
On from continued rumours that he will leave this summer and his agent hinting at the same last week, the player has now bid goodbye to Livorno.
“Farewell Livorno, I will always carry you in my heart,” Paulinho has stated, in words carried by Il Tirreno.
“From Livorno and the people of Livorno I have received so much, even in the moments when things did not go for the best.
“The relegation? I am at peace with my conscience because I have always given everything.
“I believe that many others should perhaps look inwards.”
