Vincenzo Montella has personally asked Jeremy Menez to come and join Fiorentina from Paris Saint-Germain.
The winger’s contract at PSG is up this summer, and, as such, is being courted by several of Europe’s top sides.
Juventus and Arsenal are both thought to be keen on the former Roma man, but Sport Mediaset report that the Viola Coach has personally spoken with the 27-year-old in a bid to persuade him to come to Florence.
With Juan Cuadrado reportedly set to leave for Barcelona, the Tuscan outfit seem to have put the France international at the top of their list of replacements.
One stumbling block to the move however, could be Menez’s wages, which Mediaset believe are currently too high for Fiorentina.
