Pepe Reina has insisted that he will only think about his club future after the World Cup is done.

The goalkeeper has been named in Spain’s 30-man squad for the tournament in Brazil, and is expected to be the final 23 that goes to South America.

Having been on loan from Liverpool at Napoli last season, the shot-stopper has maintained that he will talk with his parent club later in the summer about a potential switch away permanently.

“Right now I am just thinking about the national team,” he told Cadena SER. “With regards to a new club, first I’ll have to talk with Liverpool.”

Reina has been heavily linked with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, as well as a permanent move to the Partenopei.

“There’s been nothing from Barcelona. They have only just bought Ter Stegen – so that position is filled.

“And I haven’t been in contact with Atletico Madrid. Anyway, I’m sure there’ll be desperate to keep hold of Courtois.”
