Inter target Granit Xhaka could leave Borussia Monchengladbach, their sporting director has admitted.
The 21-year-old only signed for the Bundesliga outfit in 2012 from Basel, but has already become an integral part of Lucien Favre’s starting XI.
As such, the Nerazzurri are thought to be on the trail of the Switzerland international, with a potential bid coming in the summer.
And despite his amazing promise, the Foals’ board member has conceded that the club could be forced to sell their starlet.
“At the moment there is no scenario where Granit will be sold,” Max Eberl told Rheinische Post.
“But I can’t completely rule out his departure in the summer.”
