Michael Essien’s future at Milan will be discussed after the World Cup and will depend on the new Coach, says his agent.
The midfielder joined the Rossoneri in January from Chelsea on an 18-month contract, but has been linked with an exit this summer.
This week, the player’s agent has now briefly hinted that his future at San Siro may be in doubt.
“I will meet with Milan after the World Cup, and then we will decide what to do,” GhanaWeb quote Fabian Piveteau as telling reporters.
“It also depends on the new Coach.”
Pippo Inzaghi is set to be confirmed as Clarence Seedorf’s replacement on the bench.
