Former Lazio defender Giuseppe Biava says he wants to go into coaching once his playing days come to an end.
The 37-year-old recently decided to leave the Biancocelesti in order to be able to spend more time closer to home.
However, speaking to Lazio Style Radio today he said he is sorry to be leaving Stadio Olimpico and that he still wants to continue playing for the time being.
“This year we started badly, the results kept going against us,” Biava said.
“Was that the defenders’ fault? If you concede a lot of goals, it’s because the defenders are making mistakes.
“I am sorry to be leaving the city, the club and the fans. The decision was a difficult one to make.
“At the moment I have no offers on the table but I still want to play. In the future though I would like to be a Coach.”
