Gazzetta Dello Sport report that Ciro Immobile’s transfer to Borussia Dortmund will be completed tomorrow.
The 24-year-old, who scored 22 Serie A goals this season for Torino, ended the campaign as the leading marksman in Italy’s top flight.
He is currently co-owned by both the Granata and their cross-city rivals Juventus but the Bundesliga outfit made their interest in the player known weeks ago.
It was reported this morning that Jurgen Klopp’s side had tabled a bid of €19m to be shared between Toro and the Old Lady.
Now, it seems that a deal has been agreed between all parties. Tomorrow, Immobile will be free to briefly step away from Italy’s pre-World Cup training camp in Coverciano in order to seal his move to Germany.
The player, who has publicly spoken of his desire to be playing in the Champions League, will reportedly sign a five-year contract with Dortmund worth around €2m a year.
