Milan are still reportedly keen on securing a permanent deal to take Moroccan Adel Taarabt to San Siro.

The attacking-midfielder had a loan spell with the Rossoneri from English side QPR during the second half of this season, but this has now ended.

Equally, the May 31 deadline set for Milan to sign the player for a fixed fee of €7m has now also passed.

However, respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims on his official website that prominent agent, Kia Joorachbian, is currently representing Taarabt in talks with Milan CEO Adriano Galliani, with whom he has an excellent relationship.

It is said that the discussions will continue, with the Rossoneri reportedly wanting to make a lower offer for the 25-year-old than the initial agreed sum.
