Juventus’ first-choice recruitment to strengthen at full-back this option is reportedly Torino and Italy’s Matteo Darmian.

The Bianconeri’s sporting director Fabio Paratici was reportedly in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening to watch reputed target Daryl Janmaat in action for the Netherlands against Wales.

However, the Gazzetta dello Sport believe that if the Old Lady was to move in the coming window to reinforce the position of full-back, then it would come first with a move for city rivals Torino’s newly-capped Darmian.

It is reported that the 24-year-old would be Antonio Conte’s first option, particularly if Stephan Lichtsteiner were to leave this summer.

The Swiss international is believed to be in talks over a contract extension, but is about to enter the final 12 months of his current deal, leaving open the possibility of an exit before preseason.
