Davide Nicola says he first needs to talk with Aldo Spinelli before deciding if he will continue as Coach at Livorno.
The 41-year-old began and ended the season on the Amaranto’s bench, bookending a difficult season which also saw Attilio Perotti and Domenico Di Carlo have spells in an attempt to arrest the team’s eventual slide back into Serie B.
Still as Coach at the moment, Nicola has admitted he first needs to clear the air with club President Spinelli before planning out next season in the second teir.
“I have another year on my contract with Livorno,” Nicola has told Rai Sport this week.
“With President Spinelli I want to meet, in order to understand a few things that concern both him and me.
“Then we will evaluate what is best for all. This does not mean that I will leave.
“We need to understand what the margins of work are that we have for next season, to avoid any mistakes of the past and to have a clear conscience.”
