A report in England suggests that Arsenal are preparing to make an offer of around €20m for Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne.
London-based outlet Metro indicate that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old and are prepared to come in with an offer, should he impress during this summer’s World Cup.
It is understood that at this time, manager Arsene Wenger has instructed club scouts to keep an eye on the forward.
The report says that should Arsenal remain impressed, then they are prepared to offer as much as £17m, around €20m, to try and tempt Napoli into a sale.
However, whilst Metro asserts that the Vesuviani are ‘happy to sell in a bid to raise funds for other deals’, reports in Italy believe that the club have no plans to release the youngster.
