There are stories circulating in the Italian Press that Milan and Manchester United could play a series of lucrative friendlies next season.
Neither team qualified for any form of European competition last term, with both sides suffering their worst domestic campaigns in decades.
The Rossoneri finished in eighth place whilst the Old Trafford outfit lumbered to seventh place in the Premier League.
But Corriere della Sera reveal that they could make up for a lack of European money by playing a number of friendlies across the globe.
The paper believes that talks between the two teams are ongoing, but an initial idea will be to play against each other up to eight times across the year, with potential trips to Asia and America.
