Catalan newspaper Sport lead with the news that the Blaugrana have set their sights on the Fiorentina winger, and will being negotiations next week.
The sports daily indicates that the Viola have paid €11m for the second half of the Colombia international’s registration from Udinese, having splashed out €7m for the first half last season.
With that €18m splurge, it is believed that Vincenzo Montella’s men will happily accept €25m from the Camp Nou outfit – an amount they are willing to pay.
With that all-but agreed it is just personal terms that need to be worked on, and it is claimed that Cuadrado is desperate to sign for Luis Enrique’s side.
The deal therefore, is set for completion, with Barca hoping to get it done before the start of the World Cup.
