Gianfranco Zola is confident that Mario Balotelli and Antonio Cassano can cause the England defence problems next weekend.
The Azzurri take on the Three Lions in their World Cup Group D opener in Manaus on June 14.
And the former Chelsea striker believes that the attacking duo have the quality to upset the English backline.
“I’m really curious to see how it turns out,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We are more experienced and they have some exciting young players – as well as some greats like Gerrard and Rooney.
“The English defence isn’t as slow as it was before, but I believe that Balotelli and Cassano have the weapons to make it difficult for them.”
