Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has admitted that they will be powerless to keep Alessio Cerci should he want to leave.
The winger has been the subject of constant speculation in recent months, with Roma thought to be heavily tracking the Italy international.
And despite not wanting to let their star forward go, the Toro board member has conceded that the player is ultimately the one who decides.
“We want to keep Alessio because we don’t need to sell at this moment in time,” he told reporters.
“That was also the case for Immobile [who joined Borussia Dortmund], but the will of the player is important.”
