Danny Welbeck has limped out of England training and could miss the game against Italy on Saturday.
The Three Lions take on the Azzurri in their opening game of the World Cup in Manaus at the weekend.
But the Manchester United forward could miss the match after he was led away from their session on Tuesday evening.
The squad were taking part in attacking drills at their Rio base, but with his thigh already heavily strapped, the youngster was taken into the physio room for treatment.
Welbeck joins Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the injured list, which means that Raheem Sterling could get his chance against Cesare Prandelli’s men.
